Betty L. Watson, 72, of Urbana went to be with her Lord and Savior at 11 a.m. 
Friday, Feb. 20, 2009.
She was born Betty Louise Evilsizor on Jan. 24, 1937, in Urbana, a daughter of 
the late Luther and Mary Evilsizor. 
Involved for many years in 4-H and cattle farming, she was a Champaign County 
Fair Queen, cheerleader and received many honors throughout her days. She 
graduated from Urbana Local Schools in 1955 with a perfect attendance record, 
attended First Baptist Church of Urbana, participated in the Christian Women’s 
Club and worked for Grimes Manufacturing. She was the owner of and managed the 
County Corner ladies apparel shoppes in Urbana, Springfield, Bellefontaine and 
Boca Raton, Fla. She loved her grandchildren and attending ballgames and 
family functions. 
Survivors include sons Jeffrey (Lisa) Watson of Bellefontaine and Timothy Todd 
(Annette) Watson of Cable; grandchildren, Chase, Collin, Colby and Jacob; a 
brother, Bill Evilsizor and many loving nieces, nephews, relatives and 
friends. 
She was preceded in death by a loving sister, Elizabeth Evilsizor Boyer, and 
Roger L. Watson, whom she married Oct. 18, 1958. 
Special thanks to her helping hands, Robert Gilliam of Urbana, Paul Bonetzky 
and the staff at Health and Home. 
The Rev. Clifford Kissinger conducts a funeral at 10 a.m. Monday at Walter and 
Smith Funeral Home, Urbana, where calling is from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday. 
Burial is in Spring Grove Cemetery, St. Paris.
