NORTH HAMPTON - William E. Welty, 54, of 67 E. Clark st., North Hampton, died 
unexpectedly Friday at 4 a.m. in Mercy Medical Center, shortly after being 
admitted.
He was born June 11, 1919, in Dialton, the son of Ivin and Aurie Clingan 
Welty. A veteran of World War II, he was employed as an electroplater at 
Kelsey-Hayes Co.
Survivors include his wife, Wanda; his father, Ivin, of Urbana, and one 
brother, Carl, of North Hampton. A son and daughter are deceased.
Funeral services will be conducted Monday at 11 a.m. in the Trostel-Chapman 
Funeral Home, New Carlisle. Burial will be in Newson Chapel Cemetery.
Friends may call in the funeral home from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday.
