Betty L. White, 55, of Springfield, passed away Sunday, August 26, 2007 in her 
residence. She was born on November 22, 1952 in Springfield, Ohio, the 
daughter of Charles & Estelene (Moore) Salyer.

Betty enjoyed playing cards. She worked for several local restaurants in the 
Urbana area.

She is survived by a daughter, Gloria M. White and a son, Lance K White II, 
both of Springfield; three brothers, Oshel Thompson of Nevada, Jerry Salyer of 
Mechanicsburg and Chuck Salyer of Urbana.; two sisters; Sue Woods of Florida 
and Debra Eaton of Millerstown, Ohio, and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Don Salyer.

Graveside services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, August 29, 2007 in 
Oakdale Cemetery, Urbana, with Pastor Don Hix officiating. Services are 
entrusted to Vernon Funeral Home Urbana.
