Mary FURROW WHITNEY, 101, formerly of 127 West Troy Street, St. Paris, died 
Sunday, January 4, 1987 at 6 A.M. in the Champaign Nursing Home where she had 
been a patient since 1979. She was born in Miami Coun-ty on March 4, 1885 the 
daughter of the late Leonard and Laura (NICHOLAS) FURROW. Survivors include 
one daughter, Mrs. Ruby WEBER of Con-over, - Ohio; one granddaughter, Mrs. 
Harold (Carolyn) KIES of Sidney; three great-grandchil-dren; nine great-great-
grandchildren; one niece and two nephews. She was preceded in death by her 
husband, Earl, on January 20, 1967; and by one brother and one sister. Friends 
may call at the funeral home on Tuesday from 4-8 PM. Funeral services will be 
held Wednesday at 1:30 PM in the Richeson-Wickham & Atkins Funeral Home. St. 
Paris with the Rev. Paul Mitchell officiating. Burial will follow in Evergreen 
Cemetery, St. Paris
