She was born on Nov. 14, 1921, in Champaign County, a daughter of the late Wilber Thomas and Olive Marie Kizer Wibel. A brother, K. Thomas Wibel, also preceded her in death. Survivors include a daughter, Krystene (Bruce) Kendall of Quincy; two grandchildren, Kayela (Shawn) Noggler of Quincy and Kari (Scott) Jackson of DeGraff; five great-grandchildren, McKinzie, Hailey and Austin Noggler and Ethan and Kaitlyn Jackson; a brother, Howard (Rita) Wibel of St. Paris; and two sisters, Martha Sparks of Wisconsin and Mary (Delano) Houston of California. A 1939 St. Paris High School graduate, she retired in 1981 from Val Decker Packing Company of Piqua. Pastor Larry Brown of Gretna Brethren Church conducts a funeral at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday at Atkins-Shively Funeral Home, 216 S. Springfield St., St. Paris, where calling is one hour prior to the service. Burial follows in Evergreen Cemetery.
