WILSON, Robert E. (Uncle Bob) 84, of Mechanicsburg, Ohio passed away Tuesday, 
March 29, 2005 in Eaglewood Care Center following six months of serious 
illness. He was born November 18, 1920 Dayton, Ohio. The son of Ralph I. and 
Wilda (Hawkins) Wilson. Robert was a retired Lieutenant Colonel in the Air 
Force, he was a flight instructor during World War II and served in the Korean 
Conflict. He retired in 1972 after spending time on active duty and in the 
reserves. He also retired from farming six years ago after having a 
partnership with his brother, Don since 1946. He is survived by his brother, 
Donald (Joyce) Wilson of London, Ohio and their children, Teresa M., Columbus, 
Ohio and John (Kelly Evans-Wilson) of Mechanicsburg, Ohio and their children 
Emma and Elyse. He had made his home with John and Kelly for the past five 
years. He is also survived by his sister, Helen (Donald) Yeager of Kettering, 
Ohio and their children, Mike (Tamara) Yeager of New Carlisle, Ohio, Peggy 
(Mike) Erisman of Xenia, Ohio, Becky (Vince) Creech of Beavercreek, Ohio, Jane 
Yeager of Dayton, Ohio and Steve (Jean) Yeager of Dayton, Ohio and several 
great nieces and nephews survive. There will be no visitation. Graveside 
services will held at the convenience of the family in Oakdale Cemetery, Urbana
