He was born April 12,1931, in London, the son of the late James William and Ida (Barton) Windle. He married Elsie Bussey in Richmond, Ind., on Aug. 29,1953, and she survives. He also is survived by six children and their spouses, Jim (Brenda) Windle of Fletcher, Ann (Scott) Massie of St. Paris, Tim (Stacey) Windle of Piqua, John Windle of Piqua, Christie (Terry) Rickmon of St. Paris and Heather (Jason) Bamett of Fletcher; 11 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. Other survivors include one brother and sister-in-law, Charles (Margaret) Howard of California; four sisters, Betty (George) Lasanen of New Lebanon, Ellen (Richard) Dutcher of Arizona, Carol (Richard) Eubank of Utah and Karen Howard of Athens; two foster brothers, Harold Taner of South Vienna and Walter Jester of Columbus; and numerous nieces and nephews. Paul entered the U. S. Army on Sept. 14, 1949 and served during the Korean War until Oct. 4, 1952. He received the Korean Service Medal with six bronze service stars. He worked for Fiebiger's in Conover for many years. His greatest accomplishment was his ministry at the Millerstown Holiness Tabernacle where he served as pastor for more than 28 years. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday in the Millerstown Holiness Tabernacle, corner of Zimmerman Road and Heck Hill Road in Millerstown. A special family friend, Larry Hoffman of Coldwater, Mich., will preside. Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery, St. Paris. The Philip Grieser Memorial Post 7645 VFWof St. Paris will be performing military honors at the cemetery. Visitation for family and friends will be from 5-8 p.m. Monday in the Atkins- Shively Funeral Home, 216 S.
