Perry Sherman Woods, 90, of Urbana, passed away Wednesday morning, May 7, 
2008, at his home following a brief illness.

He was born April 22, 1918 the son of Homer and Florence (Straley) Woods. Mr. 
Woods retired in 1981 as the production supervisor at Cooper Industries, 
Springfield, after over 40 years of service. 

Mr. Woods' wife of 59 years, Juanita W., predeceased him on September 30, 1998.

His survivors include his sons and daughters-in-law, Gene and Shirley Woods of 
Urbana, Ohio, & Robert and Pamela Woods of Worthington, Ohio; his 
grandchildren, Dorinda Doty of Ypsilanti, MI; Corey Woods of Jacksonville, 
Florida; Kim Daniels of Urbana, Ohio; & Braden Woods, West Hollywood, CA; and 
five great grandchildren, Travis Hill, Jordan Ropp, Audrey Woods, Sydney Woods 
and Rylie Daniels. He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Ada 
Stout.

Private services will be held at the convenience of the family. Burial will be 
in Oakdale Cemetery.
