Eileen Woodson, 75, of Marysville, died Monday evening, Oct. 12, 2009, at Kobacker House, Columbus. She was born in Washington Court House on March 9, 1934, a daughter of the late Albert and Helen Brown Conroy. She also was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas E. Woodson Jr., July 31, 1997; a brother, Harold Conroy; and a sister Alberta Mallory. She is survived by her children, David L. Scales of West Liberty, Marsha A. “Pip” (Patrick) Mahoney and Christine T. (Greg) Starks, both of Richwood, and Thomas E. (Christal) Woodson III of Marysville; grandchildren, Hilary R., David L., Rebecca A., Paul M. and Jordon W. Scales, Michael F. and Gabriel T. Mahoney, Thomas E. IV and Trayland A. Woodson, and Jobe G., Steven A. and Sara M. Starks; great-grandchildren, Blake, Ally, Kaylen and Mya; a sister, Norma Jean (John) Best of Cincinnati; a sister-in-law, Adel Conroy of Arizona; and a host of nieces, nephews and friends. A homemaker and loving mother and grandmother, she was a member of the Bible Baptist Church, the American Legion Auxiliary, Mary Chapter 9 Order of Eastern Star and a former 4-H adviser. She also was a member of the Windsor and Community Seniors, the Union County Seasoned Seniors and was an avid bingo player. The Revs. Jeremy Stout and Rayford Harper officiate a funeral at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Ingram Funeral Home, Marysville, where visitation is from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday.
