She was born March 25, 1953 in Dayton, Ohio to Leon and Roberta (Lefeld) Deppen. She graduated in 1971 from St. Joseph High School in Dayton, Ohio. Mary was co- owner of the family business W Productions Signs and Graphics located in Urbana, Ohio. She was also a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Saint Paris, Ohio. She was preceded in death by her father, Leon Deppen, and a brother Thomas Deppen. She is survived by her husband of 34 1/2 years John Wright of Saint Paris, and 5 children: Jennifer and Joseph Korte of Urbana, Ohio; John and Deborah Wright of Piqua, Ohio; Julie and Tony Karn of Englewood, Ohio; Joni and Peter Kube of Lebanon, Ohio; and James Wright of Urbana, Ohio; 18 grandchildren; her mother, Roberta (Lefeld) Deppen of Dayton, Ohio; 6 brothers and sisters: Linda and Chuck Simko of Centerville, Ohio; Bill and Lori Deppen of Saint Paris, Ohio; Jackie and Tom Ruble of Ann Arbor, Michigan; Patricia Deppen of West Carrollton, Ohio; and John and Angie Deppen of Casstown, Ohio; former sister-in-law: Diane (Baer Deppen) Neff; former brother-in-law: Ken Nelms; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be held at 10:30 am on Tuesday, April 25, 2006 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 121 East Walnut Street, Saint Paris, Ohio with Father Gregory Konerman presiding. Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery, Saint Paris, Ohio. Visitation for family and friends will be held on Monday, April 24, from 4:00-8:00 pm in the Atkins-Shively Funeral Home, 216 S. Springfield Street, Saint Paris, Ohio. Memorial contributions may be made to Community Mercy Hospice, 1343 N. Fountain Blvd, Springfield, Ohio 45504. Envelopes will be available in the funeral home.
