Paul was born on September 14, 1931 in Butler, the son of the late Charley Edward and Margaret Caroline (Hubbard) Zimmerman. He married Lucinda Huffman on March 28, 1981 in Butler, Indiana and they enjoyed twenty-five years together until her passing on October 19, 2006. Paul is survived by four siblings: Mary Barney of Green Springs, Ohio, Lucy McDonald, Bea Green, and Bob Zimmerman all of Butler, Indiana; and several nieces and nephews. He is also survived by his mother and father-in-law, Allen and Becky Huffman, formerly of St. Paris and currently residing in Green Hills Retirement Village, West Liberty; and his sister-in-law and husband, Becky and Stephen Mast of Bellefontaine. In addition to his parents and wife, one brother, Wesley Zimmerman preceded him in death. Paul was a member of the Covenant Lutheran Church, St. Paris and a 1949 graduate of Butler High School, Butler, Indiana. He retired after 45 years of service with Universal Tool and Stamping Company also in Butler. Funeral services will be held on Friday, August 10, 2007 at 2:00 PM in the ATKINS-SHIVELY FUNERAL HOME, 216 S. Springfield Street, Saint Paris, Ohio with Reverend Rob Fulton of the First United Presbyterian Church of Bellefontaine officiating. Pallbearers will be: Ed Zimmerman, Greg Baker, David Mast, Stephen Mast, and Allen Huffman. Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery, Saint Paris. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the funeral services on Friday in the funeral home beginning at 1:00 PM.
