Ezra Roy Shepard was born February 6, 1893 in Champaign Co. Ohio to William H. 
Shepard and Alice Idema Biddle Shepard. Ezra Roy, and Thessel Geuy ran off to 
Canada, got married , returned home and did not tell thier parents for some 
time.  After Thessels death, he married Ethel A. Tallman on Jan. 20, 1945 in 
Urbana, Champaign co. Ohio. They divorced. Roy died in a Colby Hospital in 
Kansas on May 26, 1964. He is buried in Oak Dale Cemetery in Urbana, Champaign 
co. Ohio.
