Pearl did not like farm life, so she went to the bank, got a loan, bought a 
house and rented the rooms to pay for it.  Warren Grimes, owner of Grimes MFG. 
wanted the house and made a deal with her. He moved her to the Gwynne st. 
house where she last lived, and promised to look after her till she died. She 
almost outlived him. Pearl had gypsy blood. She used to read tea leaves and 
use a pendulum to decide the gender of a un born baby.  Gypsies deliver their 
children, fast and easy, the sac detaches and they have a very quick labor.
Pearl raised some of her grandchildren.
