I William Voluntine of Champaign County and State of Ohio, being at this time of sound mind & memory but considering the uncertainty of the mortal life I do make this my last will and testament. First. I recommend my soul to God who gave it and my body to be decently intered. Second. My funeral expenses and all my lawful debts to be paid. 3rd. I give and bequeath unto my dear beloved wife Joanna Voluntine one bed and bedding, also I give my wife the equal one half of all my real estate, also the equal one half of all my moveable property, with the use of the black mare. All the within property to belong to my wife Joanna Voluntine so long as she remains to be my widow, her bed to belong to her during her natural life. 4th. I give and bequeath to my son Daniel Voluntine the other half of my real estate. 5th I give and bequeath to all my sons and daughters viz, Jane Sayers, Hannah Chaney, Esther Parker, Abadiah Voluntine, Joanna Beaty, Crane Voluntine, Levi Voluntine, Jonathan Voluntine, Daniel Voluntine, William Voluntine, the equal one half of all my moveable estate at my death, Also all the property that I give to my wife both Real and personal to be divided equal amongst my sons and daughters at the marriage or death of my wife, except her bed the bed she exposes of of as she sees fit. I appoint my son Levi Voluntine and my friendly neighbour John D Cory executor of this my last will and testament. In witness whereof I have set my hand and seal this second day of February in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and thirty four.
