Pallbearers for Thomas Funeral are Designated

    Funeral services for W. S. Thomas, 65, prominent manufacturer and business 
man, who died suddenly Monday of a heart attack, will be held at the residence, 
721 E. High at. at 2 p.m. Thursday.  Burial will be made in Ferncliff cemetery.
    Rev. Dr. Charles Ryan Adams, pastor of the Covenant Presbyterian church, of 
which Mr. Thomas was a member, will preach the funeral sermon.  There will be 
no music and the services will be marked by their simplicity.
    Hundreds of telegrams and messages of condolence have poured into the 
Thomas home, since his death.  These have come from all over the country, 
showing the high esteem in which he washeld in the social, religious and 
business world.  The passing of Mr. Thomas has cast a gloom of sadness over the 
city, as we, was universally liked.
    Active and honorary pallbearers have been chosen from Mr. Thomas’ intimate, 
business and personal, friends.  They are as follows: 
    Active – H. H. Bean, J. B. Cartmell, Paul C. Martin, T. W. Ludlow, C. F. 
Harrison and Willard C. Carr of Richmond, Ind.
    Honorary – John L. Zimmerman, I. F. McNally, W. H. Stackhouse, J. Eledn 
Bowman, P. J. Shouvlin, Robert S. Rodgers, Frank S. Anthony, Judge James G. 
Johnson, R. C. Bancroft, W. W. Keifer, Capt. E. L. Buchwalter, H. S. Bradley, 
M. L. Milligan, Edward Harford, Addison, S. Rogers, Chalres P. Dunn, John L. 
Bushnell, E. S. Kelly and J. Frank McGrew.
