A. of the 372 infantry, whose home is in Springfield, has been killed in action, official word haying been received by his wife in Springfield Tuesday afternoon after she had unofficial learned the news through letters printed in a Springfield paper. BAILEY, who was but 20 years of age, died June 9 of wounds received in action. He is a cousin of Private Earl CARROL of this city, who is in the same regiment.
