Irene BUTLER, 88, died at 3:45 a.m. Sunday in Hearthland of Springfield 
following several years of failing health, she was born in Springfield on 
February 1, 1899 the daughter of Patrick and Rose (BRICE) MCNALLY and resided 
here all of her life. She was formerly employed as a secretary for several 
companies in the Springfield area for a number of years, she is a member of 
St, Teresa Catholic church, she is survived by a number of nieces and nephews, 
including Fr. Donald C. HUEBNER and Mrs. Rosemary KOEHLER both of Springfield. 
She was preceded in death by her husband, Raphael J. in 1983, three sisters, 
Mary MEACHEM, Helen AMSDEN, and Florence HUEBNER, and one brother John 
MCNALLY. Her body was taken to the Conroy Funeral Home. There will be no 
visitation. Funeral mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday in St. Teresa 
Church with burial in Calvary cemetery
