OBITUARY TEXT: Using date of Death. BAKER, Mary Ellen 86, of New Carlisle, Ohio
passed away Saturday, March 15, 2003 at her daughters residence. She was born
April 2, 1916 in Montgomery County, Ohio the daughter of Charles Lester & Esther
(Brown) Maue. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church and Home
City Chapter OES 258. She is survived by a daughter, Brenda (Keith) Fisher,
step-son, Phillip (Jane) Baker, all of New Carlisle; four grandchildren, Andrew
(Erin) Fisher of Delaware, Ohio, Amanda "Muffy" Fisher of New Carlisle, David
(Nichi) Baker of Springfield, OH, Shawn (Nancy) Baker of Dayton, Ohio; great
granddaughter, Jessica Baker; cousin, Helen Baker of Miamisburg, Ohio; other
relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her husband Louie H. Baker; a
sister, Marguerite Hix; a brother, Heber Maue; a nephew, Charles "Chuck" Maue.
Services will be held 2:00 P.M., Monday March 17, 2003 at the Trostel, Chapman
and Christmas Funeral Home, New Carlisle, Ohio. Burial in New Carlisle Cemetery.
Friends may call two hours prior at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers
memorial contributions may be made to Mercy Hospice.
