Detroit st., of Kenton, O., who became suddenly ill on the Big Four train from Cincinnati about midnight Saturday, died at the city hospital at 4 p.m. Sunday. Mrs. Carr felt the child’s limbs becoming cold on the train and on arriving in Springfield took the baby to Fox’s restaurant. Dr. Howard Austin was called and ordered the child taken to the hospital. Mrs. Carr went to Kenton, Sunday afternoon. Mrs. Carr left Cincinnati Saturday to join her husband in Kenton, where he had been working on the flood conservancy project. The child’s illness occurred en route. The body was taken to Jackson’s funeral home.
