DROPS DEAD IN CORN FIELD
George H Cultice, Prominent Farmer of Mississinawa Township, Dies Suddenly 
Tuesday Morning-Funeral Friday Morning
George H Cultice, farmer from Mississinawa Township, dropped dead of heart 
trouble Tuesday morning at 10:30am while at work on his farm. Mr. Cultice’s 
death was very sudden. He had been in poor health for several weeks. The 
deceased was 59 years old of age and is survived by a widow and one son. 
Funeral services Friday morning at 10 a, at Rose Hill with Rev Overhulser 
officiating. Interment in the Rose Hill Cemetery.

Son of George henry and Susan Rebecca Rice Cultice. Born 11/14/1860 in Clark 
County, Ohio. Wife is Sarah Lavina Dellinger, daughter of William Edward and 
Mary Jane Sparrow Dellinger. He married her 11/09/1882 in Clark County, Ohio . 
They had 4 children: George William, Florence, Walter and Debbie.
