R. DRAKE of Springfield, to commit suicide in the cellar of her home Monday afternoon. The woman hung herself with a clothes line rope, fastened from a beam. The jump to death was made from a wooden box. The body was found by the woman's 18 year old daughter, Garnett,a student at Wittenberg College, who returned home from school about 4 o'clock.The coroner Theodore Schaefer was called and pronounced suicide and stated the woman had been dead about two hours. The deceased was a sister of Ira BEATY of St. Paris. She also leaves two sisters, Mrs. Flora BEATY of St. Paris and Mrs. Bertha TALBOT of Texas. Private funeral services were held at the home Wednesday afternoon by Rev. Hoffman, of Springfield M. E.
