He fell on April 8, fracturing the bone and due to his advanced age of 87 years, he succumbed to the injury. Mr. Elliott lived at the home of his son, Wells ELLIOTT, 346Wwest Grande Avenue, Springfield. After his wife died here, he closed his home on South Michigan Avenue and went to his son's home, first at Portsmouth, later at Hillsboro and Springfield. He leaves also two daughters, Mrs. Earl Kesinger of Portsmouth and Mrs. Mabel DITTY of Springfield. William E. MCLAUGHLIN, Wellston, railroad conductor is a stepson. Mr. Elliott was a molder by trade and for many years was employed by the Old Wellston Foundry. He worked there a half century with Mike SPALLACY, John KEARNEY, Pearl RISLEV, and other oldtime molders. of their number, KEARNEY is about the only one surviving of the crew employed by manager George O. RICHARDSON. The ELLIOTT funeral will be held from Simons and Rogers mortuary.
