OBITUARY TEXT: Lavada EVANS, 78, of 944 Sunset Avenue, Apt. B, died unexpected
Tuesday October 15, 1985 in Mercy Medical Center. She was born October 18, 1906,
in New Vienna, Ohio the daughter of Holmer and Anna (WALLACE) BURTON. Survivors
include, one daughter, Ann (Tibby) SCOTT, Springfield, two sons, Robert RENSHAW,
Dayton and Theodore STRICKLAND, Tampa Florida; 18 grandchildren; 20 great
grandchildren; seven great-great-grandchildren; one aunt; one uncle; and
cousins. Friends may call in the Dennis L. Porter Funeral Home after 12 noon
Friday. Family will be present from7-9 p.m. Funeral will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday
in the funeral home with the Rev. Karlan Carter officiating. Burial will be in
Ferncliff Cemetery
