William E. DILLARD, 81, died in his home, four miles east of South Charleston, at 9 a.m. Saturday. A native of Pike County, he had lived in Clark county for the last 40 years. He was a large land owner. He is survived by eight sons and two daughters; the Rev. Ralph, Clifford, Thomas, okey and Desloyes, all of South Vienna; Luther, of Jeffersonville; Hinton, of Springfield, Route 2; Herbert, of urbana, Route 1; Mrs. Joanna KNOFF, west Liberty, and Russie DILLARD, at home; 24 grandchildren and three great grandchildren. The body was removed to the Sprague funeral home in South Charleston and will be returned to the family home Sunday afternoon. Services will be held at 3 p.m. Tuesday in the Christian Union Church in South Solon. Burial will be in South Solon.
