Marie George Peters

75, a former Springfield resident, died March 26, 1993 at 3 a.m. in St. 
Petersburg, Florida.  She was born in Sciotoville, Ohio on April 30, 1917, the 
daughter of Silas and Edith (Anderson) Crawford.  She was a former member of 
Oakland Presbyterian Church.  Survivors include her husband, Harold G. Peters; 
a son and daughter-in-law, Raymond and Beverly George of Cincinnati; a daughter 
and son-in-law, Judith A. and Corky Hough of Springfield; three grandchildren, 
Dirk and Darin Hough, and Michael George; two great-grandchildren, Dustin and S
Samantha; several nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her first h
husband, Forrest George in 1972.  Her body will be sent to the Conroy Funeral H
Home.  Visitation hours will not be held.  Graveside services will be held at 3 p
p.m. Monday in the chapel at Glen Haven Memorial Gardens.  Memorial donations m
may be made to the American Lung Association.
