Harry Jones, 57, of 608 Harrison Street, died at 1 a.m. Saturday in the
Blanchard Nursing Home. He was born on March 6, 1908 in Cedarville, Ohio, the 
son of Harry and Georgia POLLARD JONES. He was a member of the St. John 
Baptist Church and served on the board of ushers of the church. Survivors 
include the widow, Elsie; one daughter, Miss Harriet JONES; one son, Michael; 
his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Harry JONES; two sisters, Mrs. Ellen WILLIAMS and 
Miss Martha JONES: one brother, Kermit JONES; a number of nieces and nephews, 
all of Springfield. Mr. JONES body was taken to the Robert C. Henry Funeral 
Home.
