Springfield (O) News-Sun Sunday April 2, 1950
Mrs. Ida B. Kieffer, 83, died in her residence at 4025 W. National rd. at 8 
p.m. Saturday following an illness of two weeks.

A resident of Clark County for 65 years, she was born in Crawford County, 
Illinois.

Her husband, William L., preceded her in death in 1942.  Mrs. Kieffer was a 
member of St. Paul Evangelical Lutheran Church.

Surviving are a son, Harry M., at home; five daughters; Mrs. Bertha Stella 
Freet and Mrs. Maude K. Souders, both at home, Mrs. Gus Wendt of Springfield, 
Mrs. Glenna Bean of Mechanicsburg, Route 1, and Mrs. Opal Dudley of Batavia, 
O., eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

The body was taken to the Littleton funeral home.
