Albert F. LEWIS, 88 retired carpenter, died at his home, 203 East Lawn
avenue at 8:45 Tuesday morning, following a several months' illness. He was 
born in Clark County, July 25, 1853, but had lived in Urbana the greater part 
of his life.
He is survived by his widow, Laura Belle LEWIS; three sons, Dr. Lawrence J. 
LEWIS,Janesville, Wis., J. Warren LEWIS, St. Paris and Howard LEWIS, Urbana, 
0H; 6 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild. The body was taken to Humphreys 
and Son Co. Funeral home, where it will remain for funeral services Thursday 
at 2 p.m. Rev. Roger J. Turrell, pastor of the Urbana Methodist Church will 
conduct the services, interment will be in Oak Dale Cemetery.
