Died-on the 6th instant, at his residence in this county, Cornelius MORRIS,
aged about 78 years. The deceased, formerly a resident of Clark County, Ohio, 
hadbut a few months since emigrated to this county. He was one of the Patriots 
of the Revolution, attached to the Southern army, it will be gratifying to Mr. 
MORRIS's distant friends, to know that, although his last illness was severe 
and protracted,he enjoyed that serenity of mind which in that trying hour is 
the peculiar privilege of the Christian.
