Date of Death is being used, April 16, 1979. Ruth M. OLDS, 78, of 621 Adams 
St. died Monday at 8:50 p.m. in Piqua Memorial Hospital, she had been a 
patient five days after an illness of four years. She was born in West Milton 
June 2, 1900, a daughter of Thomas and Edna CRESS YOUNT. She married J. 
Raymond OLDS March 31, 1922. He survives. She was a member of Greene Street 
United Methodist Church and a charter member of the Progressive Mother's club, 
she had been a buyer for J.W. Brown store and Uhlman's for many years, in 
addition to her husband she is survived by two sons, Raymond D. and Thomas L. 
both of Pi qua; one daughter Mrs.Orville FRANCIS (Patrica) of Piqua; four 
brothers, Robert YOUNT of Eaton, Samuel YOUNT of Bradenton, Fla.; Richard and 
Carl YOUNT of Bradford; seven grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. One 
daughter, Esther, two brothers and two sisters preceded her in death. Services 
will be held Thursday at 1 p.m. in Jamieson Funeral Home, 333 w. High St., 
with the Dr. Robert Sinks officiating. Burial will be in Miami Memorial Park, 
Covington. visitation will be Wednesday from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the 
funeral home.
