Daily Call, Piqua OH 
John Raymond OLDS, 77, of 621 S. Adams St., died Friday at 8:55 a.m. at Piqua 
Memorial Hospital. He was born in New Carlisle October 18, 1902, to Leroy and 
Hattie Reeder Olds. His wife Ruth M. died in 1979. Olds was a retired 
distributor for Standard Oil Co. in Piqua. He was a member of the Green Street 
United Methodist Church. Survivors include two sons, Ray and Tom, both of 
Piqua; one daughter, Mrs. Orville FRANCIS (Pat) of Piqua; seven grandchildren, 
12 great grandchildren, one brother, Everett J. OLDS of Springfield and one 
sister, Mrs. Lenna ARMSTRONG of Christiansburg. one daughter, a brother and a 
sister preceded in death, services will be Monday at 11 a.m. at the Jamieson 
Funeral Home, 333 W. High St., with the Rev. Robert Sinks officiating. Burial 
will be in Miami Memorial Park, Covington. Calling hours will be Sunday from 3 
to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m.
