Jerry SLATTERY, 72, formerly of Mound St, South Charleston, and a former 
employee of the Greene County Gravel Co., died at 7:30 p.m. Monday in the 
Brown veterans Hospital, Dayton. He was born Mar. 5, 1897 the son of James and 
Margaret DENEEN SLATTERY. He was a member of the St. Charles Church, South 
Charleston. Survivors include a brother, waiter of Troy, and several nieces 
and nephews. Friends may call at the Ingling Funeral Home, South Charleston, 
after 3 p.m. Tuesday. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. in 
St. Charles church with burial in St. Charles Cemetery.
