OBITUARY TEXT: SHEPARD, Raymond L., age 65, of Mad River Twp., passed away
Monday at Miami Valley Hospital. He is survived by a loving companion, Fran;
daughter, Rebecca KROLIC of California; sons, Patrick & Skip SHEPARD of
California; sister, Doris DODSWORTH; brothers Dick, Tom & Bob SHEPARD; 6
grandchildren & a host of friends. He was a native of Springfield, OH; veteran
of the U.S. Navy; retired from the Dayton News Inc. after 25 years of service;
was a music lover; he was very active as a performer with many local talents.
Services will be held 2 p.m. Thursday at the Tombs Funeral Home, Belmont Chapel,
648 Watervliet Ave. Father Poeppelman officiating. Interment Mr. Zion Shoup
Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home 1 hour prior to the service. In
lieu of flowers, donations may be made to any favorite charity.  Additional
Information: We don't know the death day for this person. It was not included
with the obituary.
