OBITUARY TEXT: Harry Herbert SHOCKEY, Sr., 77 of Pensacola, died Saturday, April
24, 1993. Mr. Shockey was a native of Springfield, Ohio, and had lived in
Pensacola for the past 29 years. He was a retired pressman with the Pensacola
News Journal. Survivors include his wife, Wanda SHOCKEY of Pensacola; two sons,
Harry SHOCKEY, Jr. of Coopers Cove, Texas, and William SHOCKEY of Harlem,
Georgia; two daughters, Bonnie TENNANT of Niceville, and Sharon COLLINS of
Pensacola; three sisters, Helen WILSON of Springfield, Ohio, Dorothy SHOCKEY of
Dayton, Ohio, and Katherine DUNPACE of Bowling Green, Ohio; nine grandchildren;
and one great-grandchild. Memorial services will be held at 10a.m. on Wednesday
in the Cedar Hill Chapel with the Rev. Carl Sanders officiating. Cedar Hill
Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
