SOMBERGER, 86, a retired farmer of Elmore, died Saturday afternoon in the Riverside Home, Ottawa county where he had been a resident since August 1964. He had been ill nine months. Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday at 2 PM in the R.F. Myers mortuary here by the Rev. Luther Redmon of the Elmore Christian Church. Burial will be in Union cemetery. Mr. Sornberger was employed by the New York Central railroad during Word War II. He was married November 18 1920 to Lena COLLISON in Springfield, Ohio. She died in 1926. A daughter, Kathryn, died in 1944. Surviving are a sister and brother, Mrs. Edith AMES, Elmore and Louis H. STRECK, Seattle, Washington.
