RICHARD A. TRITLE

64, of Springfield, died at 3:15 a.m. Wednesday, March 20, 1996, in St. Francis 
Hospital, Milwaukee, Wisconsin.  He was born December 7, 1931, in Springfield, 
Ohio, the son of John Henry and Dorothy (Wheldon) Tritle.  He retired as an 
engineer from C.E. Bauer Brothers and was currently employed by Fluid-Quip.  
Mr. Tritle was a veteran of the Koran Conflict, serving in the United States 
Army.  He was a member of the Cardinal Squares Square Dancing Club.  Survivors 
include his wife, Essie Mae (George) Tritle; three children, Sheilah (Steven) Ruef
Ruef, Marc (Sandy) Tritle, and Susan (Tom) Johnson; five grandchildren; a 
sister, Mary Ingle, and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.  Friends 
may call Friday from 4-8 p.m. in the JACKSON LYTLE & INGLING WILLIAMS FUNERAL H
HOME,	 North Limestone Chapel.  Funeral services will be held Saturday at 10 a
a.m. in the funeral home with Rev. Clayton Brooks officiating.  Interment will f
follow in Glen Haven Memorial Gardens.  The family suggests contributions be m
made to Springfield Paramedics, 350 North Fountain Avenue, Springfield, Ohio  4
45504.
