Thomas Mrs. Jennie L. Thomas, 75, widow of the late Charles E. Thomas, on of the founders of The Thomas Manufacturing Co., died at her home in Pasadena, Calif., at 3 P.M. Sunday, according to word received in this city. Her husband died in Springfield in 1921. Mrs. Thomas had been spending the winter season in California for a number of years. No near relatives survive. The body will be brought to Springfield for funeral services and burial. Springfield Daily News, Thursday, March 15, 1934 Thomas – Mrs. Jenny Thomas, wife of Charles E. Thomas, former residents of Springfield, died Sunday, March 11, 1934, at Pasadena, Calif. The body is expected to arrive in Springfield Friday evening and be taken to the home of Mrs. W. S. Thomas, 721 E. High st [sic]. Funeral services will be held at the Christ Episcopal Church at 2:30 P.m. Saturday. Burial will be made in Ferncliff Cemetery. Friends are requested to please omit flowers.
