Batavia, Ohio....July 16, 1961
Dear Marilyn, I went to cemeteries today and got some names and dates for
the BUTLER family.  My great-grandfather was ABNER BUTLER.  The brick house
in which he lived is still standing near Lindale, Ohio.
My grandfather was FERNANDO BUTLER.  My father, ABNER BUTLER.  My father had
a family Bible with names and dates in it but my sister does not know where
it is.  Hope these dates and names will help you.  As ever, Mrs. FLORA B.

ABNER BUTLER b. 02 April 1790 at Edgartown, Mass., died 29 Nov. 1870.
               His wife: Tabiatha b. 18 Mar. 1801, Green Co. PA, d. 20 July
1881.
Their children were:1. ALBERT BUTLER, b. Sept 06, 1823, d. 16 May 1900. His
wife was ELIZA POMMELLI.
2. GEORGE M. BUTLER b. 04 Nov. 1837, d. 18 May 1921.  His wife was ELIZABETH
COX who died 29 Nov. 1906, age 68 years.
3. TIMOTHY BUTLER
4. SARAH BUTLER DAILY
5. MARGARET BUTLER TOWNER
6. FERNANDO BUTLER d. 25 Nov. 1895, age 75 yrs. 4 mo. 15 days.  His wife was
NANCY DAWSON, who died 19 May 1875 aged 48 yrs 1 mo 20 days.

FERNANDO AND NANCY DAWSON BUTLER' S  children:
1. URIAH BUTLER, his wife CARTHENIA GARDNER.
2. MARION  BUTLER his wife SUSAN TOWNSLEY
3. ALONZO BUTLER his wife ADA CURRY
4. ANNA BUTLER WELCH wife of DARIUS WELCH
5. ELIZABETH BUTLER MYRICK wife of GEORGE MYRICK
6. LUELLA BUTLER died in infancy
7. JULY ANN BUTLER died in infancy

URIAH BUTLER had two daughters, one died in infancy and FLORENCE BUTLER.
She never married and is deceased.

MARION BUTLER  had two sons, WAYLAND BUTLER and RAYMOND BUTLER, and one
daughter, ETHEL BUTLER PADGETT.

ABNER BUTLER had two daughters: FLORA BUTLER AND JESSIE BUTLER, and one son
HOMER C. BUTLER deceased.

ALONZO BUTLER had one son who died in infancy.

ANNA BUTLER WELCH had two sons who died in infancy and ELSIE WELCH KEMP
deceased.

ELIZABETH BUTLER MYRICK had one son, CHESTER MYRICK, and one daughter,
ESTELLA MYRICK. Both deceased.
