All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://www.usgwarchives.net/oh/ohfiles.htm ************************************************ File contributed for use in USGenWeb Archives by: Dorothy Wiland DorothyWiland@hotmail.com February 26, 2004, 10:57 pm Written: May 24 1811 Recorded: May 24 1811 1811  DEED James Boothby to James Rounds  May 24, 1811 Clemont, OH This Indenture made this 24th day of May in the year of our Lord one thousand Eight  hundred and Eleven By and Between James Boothby of the county of Clermont and state of Ohio of the one part and James Rounds of the County and state aforesaid of the other part Witnesseth that the said James Boothby for and in consideration of the sum of one hundred and sixty-eight dollars to him in hand paid by the said James Rounds, the receipt whereof the said James Boothby doth hereby acknowledge and ? acquit and discharge him the said James Rounds his heirs executors and administrators ? the said James Boothby hath granted bargained and sold aliened  and confirmed and by these presents doth fully freely and absolutely grant bargain and sell alien and confirm until him the said James Rounds his heirs executors administrators or assigns a certain tract piece and parcel of land situate lying and being on the waters of ? lick creek, Williamsburgh Township Clermont County and State of Ohio beginning at a while ? and ash thence North four degrees West two hundred and fifteen poles to an elm thence east eighty to two beeches, thence South five degrees east two hundred and thirty poles to two sugar and birch and hickory thence North eighty degrees west eighty six and an half poles to the Beginning containing one hundred and thirteen acres and 112 poles. Together with all and singular the rights ? and appurtenances to the same belonging or in any wise appertaining also all the estate right title interest claim and demand as well in equity as in law of him the said James Boothby of in and to the same.  To have and to hold the above recited premises with all and singular the appurtenances to the same belonging or in any wise appertaining to him the said James Rounds his heirs executors and administrators and assigns forever, and the said James Boothby for himself his heirs executors and administrators do covenant and agree to and with him the said James Rounds his heirs executors administrators and assigns that he the said James Boothby his heirs executors and administrators  the hereby described premises and  all and singular the appurtenances to the same belonging unto him the said James Rounds his heirs, executors, administrators, assigns shall and will warrant and forever defend against all manner of person or persons lawfully claiming or to claim the same, ? ? money whereof the said James Boothby hath hereunto set his hand and caused his seal to be hereunto affixed the day & year first above written. Signed sealed and delivered in presents of us David Light, Samuel Wilson Ohio Clermont SS  May 24, 1811 Cam personally before me the subscriber one of the Justices of the Peace in and for said County James Boothby and acknowledged the signing and sealing and delivery of the within Indenture as the act and deed of the purposes there in contained given under hand and seal the day and year above.
