The undivided one half interest in The following real estate situate in the village of Amelia, Batavia Township, Clermont County, Ohio being a part of Robert Gibbon’s survey No 493 and bounded as follows to wit: Beginning at a stone in the middle of the Ohio Turnpike Road, corner Levi W Short; Thence with the middle of said pike N 52 degrees West 3.20 poles to a stone corner to H A Randall’s lot thence with the line of said lot N 37” East 10’ to a stone corner to said lot in the line of C Gaskin’s heirs. Thence with said line S 52 degrees East 3.20 poles to a stone corner to said Levi W Short; thence with his line S 37 ½ degrees N 10 poles to the place of beginning, containing 32.20 square poles of land be the same more or less. Being the same real estate conveyed by Levi W Short and Caroline E Short his wife to Benjamin F McCann and Anna A McCann by deed recorded in Deed Book 135 page 170 Clermont County Deed Records …And all the Estate, Title, and interest of the said Kate M Amann and Charles C McCann an unmarried man and Charles E Amann husband of said Kate M Amann either in law or Equity in and to the said premises. Together with all the privileges and appurtenances to the same belonging. To have and to Hold the same to the only proper use of said Anna A McCann her heirs and assigns forever And the said Kate M Amman, Charles C McCann and Charles E Amann for themselves and their heirs executors and administrators hereby covenant with the said Ann A McCann her heirs and assigns that they are the true and lawful owners of the said premises and have full power to convey the same; and that the title, so conveyed is Clear, Free and Unencumbered and further, that they will Warrant and Defend the same against all claims of all persons whomsoever. In witness Whereof, the said Kate M Amann, Charles C McCann, an unmarried man and Charles C Amann husband of the said Kate M Amann do hereby release all his right and expectancy of Dower in the said premises have hereunto set their hands this 13 day of May in the year of our Lord one thousand nine hundred and nine. Be it remembered that on this 18th day of May in the year of our Lord one thousand nine hundred and nine before me, the subscriber a Notary Public in and for said County personally came Kate M Amann, Charles C McCann and Charles E Amann husband of the said Kate M Amann the first two of said grantors being the only children and heirs at law of Benjamin F McCann deceased the grantors in the foregoing Deed, and acknowledged the signing to be their voluntary act and deed.
