All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://www.usgwarchives.net/oh/ohfiles.htm ************************************************ File contributed for use in USGenWeb Archives by: Dorothy Wiland DorothyWiland@hotmail.com February 26, 2004, 11:15 pm Written: March 19 1849 Recorded: April 13 1849 DEED: William McCann and Elizabeth to Stores and Goudy March 19 1849 Clermont, OH Vol.50 p 330   New Richmond Lot 94 On Market Street Corner Know all men that William McCann, and Elizabeth McCann his wife of Clermont County, and State of Ohio for and in consideration of Eighty Dollars paid by William Storyes and Thomas C Goudy have bargained and sold and so hereby bargain sell and convey unto the said William Storyes and Thomas C Goudy their heirs and assigns, forever, all and singular the following premises situate in the county of Clermont, in the State of Ohio and in the township of Ohio and bounded and described as follows to wit. That certain piece or parcel of land lying and being in the Town of New Richmond situate as follows it being a part of Lot known on the recorded Plot of said Town by number ninety four it being the upper half of said lot containing forty-one feet and three inches on Market street and eighty seven feet back with right angles with Market street, To have and to hold said premises, with the appurtenances thereto belonging unto the said William Storyes and Thomas C Goudy their heirs and assigns forever.  And the said Wm McCann for himself and heirs do hereby covenant with said Wm Storyes and Thos. C Goudy their heirs and assigns, that he is lawfully seized of the premises aforesaid; and that the premises are free and clear from all incumbrances whatsoever; and that he will warrant and forever Defend the same unto the said Wm Storyes and Thomas C Goudy their heirs and assigns against the lawful claims of all persons whomsoever. In testimony whereof, we the said Wm McCann and Elizabeth McCann his wife who hereby relinquishes her right of dower in the premises have hereunto set their hands and seals this nineteenth day of march Anno Domini one thousand Eight hundred and nine.  Executed in the presence of us Wm Hobson.  Signed by William McCann and Elizabeth McCann State of Ohio, Clermont County, SS Before me, the subscriber a Justice of the Peace in and for said county, personally appeared the above named W McCann and Elizabeth McCann his wife, and acknowledged the signing and sealing of the above conveyance to be their voluntary act and deed; and the said Elizabeth McCann being at the same time examined, separate and apart from her husband and the contents of said instrument made known to her to me, she these declared that she did voluntarily sign, seal and acknowledge the same, and that she is still satisfied therewith.  In testimony whereof, I have hereto set my hand and seal, this nineteenth day of March A.D. 1849.
