DEED ANNA A MCCANN TO KATE M AMANN 11 Dec 1911 Clermont Vol 167 p 500

Know all men by these presents that Anna McCann, unmarried and widow of 
Benjamin F McCann, deceased in consideration of One dollar and other good and 
valuable considerations to her paid by Kate M Amann, the receipts whereof is 
hereby acknowledged do so hereby Grant, Bargain, Sell and Convey to the said 
Kate M Amann, her heirs and assigns forever, The following real estate situate 
in the Village of Amelia, Batavia Township, Clermont County, Ohio, being part 
of Robert Gibbon’s survey No 493, and bounded as follows, to-wit: Beginning at 
a stone in the middle of the Ohio Turnpike road, corner to Levi W Short; thence 
with the middle of said pike N. 52 degrees. W 3.20 poles to a stone corner to 
H. A. Randall’s lot; thence with the line of said lot N 37 degrees East 10 
poles to a stone corner to said lot in the line of C Gaskins” heirs; thence 
with the said line S. 52 degrees E. 3.20 poles to a stone corner to said Levi W 
Short; thence with his line S 37 ½ degrees W. 10 poles to the place of 
beginning, containing 32.2 square poles of land, be the same more or less. 
Being the same real estate conveyed by Levi W. Short and Caroline E. Short, his 
wife, to Benjamin F. McCann and Anna A McCann by deed recorded in Deed Book 135 
page 170 CLERMONT COUNTY DEED RECORDS

And all the Estate, Title, and Interest of the said Anna A. McCann either in 
Law or in Equity in and to the said premises Together with all the privileges 
and appurtenances to the same belonging To Have and to Hold the same to the 
only proper use of the said Kate M. Amann, her heirs and assigns forever. And 
the said Anna A. McCann for herself and her heirs, executors and administrators 
hereby covenant with the said Kate M Amann, her heirs and assigns that she is 
the true and lawful owner of the said premises and has full power to convey the 
same, and that the title so conveyed is Clear, Free and Unencumbered, and 
further, that she will Warrant and Defend the same against all claims of all 
persons whomsoever.

In Witness Whereof, the said Anna A McCann hereunto set her hand this 11th day 
of December in the year of our Lord one thousand nine hundred and eleven.

The State of Ohio County of Clermont. Be it Remembered that on the 11th day of 
December in the year of our Lord one thousand nine hundred and eleven before me 
the subscriber a Notary Public in and for said County personally came Anna A. 
McCann, unmarried, and widow of Benjamin F. McCann, deceased signing thereof to 
be her voluntary act and deed.  In Testimony Whereof, I have hereunto 
subscribed my name and affixed my Notorial seal on the day and year last 
foresaid Received for Record Dec. 11th, A.D. 1911 at 11 o’clock A.M. Recorded
