DEED FROM JAMES F MCCANN AND CAROLINE TO ARTHUR AND WILLIAM SHRIVER***Deed from 
James F McCan and Caroline

Know all men that we James F McCan and Caroline wife of said James F McCan of 
the county of Clermont State of Ohio for an in consideration of three hundred 
dollars in hand paid by Arthur Shriver and William F Shriver of the same place 
the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged do hereby bargain, sell and convey 
to the said Arthur Shriver and William Shriver their heirs and assigns forever 
the following Real estate, viz: Described as the last half of in lot No. two 
hundred and ninety (290) in the Town of Felicity, Clermont County, Ohio as 
recorded in the Town plot of Felicity. Together with all the privileges and 
appurtenances to the same belonging. To have and to hold the same to the said 
Arthur Shriver and and (sic) William F Shriver heirs and assigns forever. And 
the said James F McCan for himself and his heirs do hereby covenant with said 
Arthur Shriver and Wm F Shriver their heirs and assigns that forever they are 
lawfully seized of the premises aforesaid, that the premises are free and clear 
from all incumbrances whatsoever, and that he will forever warrant and defend 
the same with the appurtenances unto the said Arthur Shriver and William F 
Shriver their heirs and assigns against the lawful claim of all persons 
whatsoever.

   In witness whereof the said James F McCan and Caroline McCan wife of said 
James F McCan hath hereunto set their hand and seal this twenty eighth day of 
October in the year eighteen hundred and fifty one.

State of Ohio Clermont County.  Be it remembered that on this twenty-eighth day 
of October in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and fifty one 
before me the subscriber G M Richards a Justice of the Peace for said county 
personally came James F McCan and Caroline McCan wife of said James McCan the 
grantor in the above conveyance, and acknowledged to signing and sealing 
thereof to be their voluntary act and deed for the use and purposes therein 
mentioned. And the said Caroline McCan wife of the said James F McCan being 
examined by me separate and apart from her said husband and the contents of 
said deed being by me made known and explained to her she declared that she did 
voluntarily sign seal and acknowledge the same, and that she is still satisfied 
therewith as her act and deed for the uses and purposes therein mentioned. In 
testimony whereof I have hereunto subscribed my name and affixed seal in the
