The following described Real Estate. Situate in the village of New Richmond Clermont County Ohio and being part of In lot No 62. Beginning at a corner of tract of said lot formerly owned by Isaac Watson thence down Willow street thirty two feet (32) to lot owned by Mrs. Short thence back and with said lot sixty-six (66) feet to W. B. Fitzpatricks lot thence South with his line of said lot formerly owned by Isaac Watson- thence west to Willow Street the place of beginning and all the estate title and interest of the said James Handy, Handy, Patrick Handy, Veronica Handy and Stephen Handy either in Law or Equity of in and to the said premises together with all the privileges and appurtenances to the same belonging, and all the privileges and appurtenances to the same belonging and all the rent, issues and profits thereof, to have and to hold the same to the only proper use of the said Elizabeth Handy her heirs and assigns forever and the said James Handy (space)Handy, Patrick Handy, Veronica Handy and Stephen Handy Hath hereby for themselves and for their heirs executors and administrators do hereby covenant with the said hath hereby Elizabeth Handy her heirs and assigns that they are the true and lawful owner of the said premises, and have full power to convey the same. That the title so conveyed is clear, free and unencumbered and further that they will warrant and defend the same against all claim or claims of all persons whomsoever. In witness whereof the said James Handy, Patrick Handy, Veronica Handy and Stephen Handy heirs at law of Patrick Handy deceased and Julia Handy wife of said James Handy who hereby releases all right and expectancy of dower in the said premises, have hereunto set their hand and Seals this 19th day of June in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and seventy eight. The State of Illinois , County of Madison Be it remembered That on the 19th day of June in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and seventy eight before me a clerk City court of Alton being a court of Record in and for said City county and State aforesaid, personally came James Handy, Julia Handy and Stephen Handy the grantors in the foregoing Deed, and acknowledged the signing and sealing thereof to be their voluntary act and deed for the uses and purposes therein mentioned. And the said Julia Handy, wife of the said James Handy being examined by me separate and apart from her said husband, and the contents of said deed being by me made known and explained to her as the Statute of the State of Ohio directs, declared that she did voluntarily sign seal and acknowledge the same and that she is still satisfied therewith as her act and deed for the uses and purposes therein mentioned. In testimony whereof I have hereunto subscribed my name name,(sic) and affixed the official seal of said Court on the day and year aforesaid. Patrick Ward, Clerk of the City Court of Alton. State of Missouri City of St. Louis . Be it remembered that on the 30th day of September in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and seventy eight before me a Notary Public in and for said City and State personally came Veronica Handy grantors in the foregoing deed and acknowledged the signing and sealing thereof to be her voluntary act and deed for the uses and purposes therein mentioned. In testimony whereof I have hereunto set my hand and affixed my Notarial Seal on the day and year aforesaid and I certify that my Commission expires August 29th 1881 Fred C. Mike, Notary Public State of Missouri , City of Saint Louis . Be it remembered that on this fourth day of February 1880 personally appeared before me Robert W. Beck a Notary Public within and for the City of St. Louis aforesaid. Veronica Tracy who is personally known to me to be the same person whose name is subscribed to the foregoing instrument of writing and acknowledged the same to be her voluntary act and deed and the purposes therein mentioned. In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and affixed my Notarial seal the day and year last above mentioned. Robert B. Beck, Notary Public. In witness whereof the said Patrick Handy one of the above grantors to this deed has this 24th day of September acknowledged the signing and sealing thereof to be his voluntary act and deed for the uses and purposes therein mentioned.
