I George Carter of Tate Township Clermont Co. Ohio Do make and Publish this my last will and testament Revoking all former wills. Item 1. I give and devise to my children Elisha Carter, Henry Carter, John Carter, Mary Casedy, Sarah Pursley, Nancy Davis and Thomas Carter all the real estate now owend by me at this time and all the Chattel Property that may belong to me at my deth I bequesth to my above named children equal they paying any just debts and funeral expenses. Item 2. To Francis M. Carter I give and devise a certain promissory note executed by the said Francis M. Carter to me and baring date of March the 7th 1884 and due twelve months after date and calling for three hundred and ninty dollars, there is paid on said note one hundred and thirty dollars The remainder of said note I devise to the said Francis M. Carter as his full interest in my estate. Item 3. I do herby nominate and appoint my son Elish Carter Executor of this my last will and testament Hereby authorizing and empowering him to compromise adjust and discharge in such manner as he may deam proper the debts and claims due me at my death. In testimony hereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this 15th day of May in the year 1890.
