Her brother was lying at death's door and a young man was sent in a buggy to bring Mrs. Little to his bedside. In driving out of town, they had to cross the B. & O. railroad tracks just below the station and just as the horse stepped upon the tracks, they found the Westbound freight upon them. The horse became frightened, making a quick turn, throwing the buggy over, which in all probablility saved their lives. Neither was badly hurt and are thankful their lives were spared.
