For and in consideration of the just sum of Five Hundred dollars to them in hand paid, the receipt whereof the do hereby aacknowledge, have fiven granted bargained sold released and Coveyed and do by these Presents give grant bargain sell release coney and Confirm unto the said William Routzon and his heirs and assigns forever all that Trace or parcel if land situate and being in the County of Columbiana un the State of Ohio, and being part of the South East quarter of Section No twenty two range No one and Township Eight and is bounded as follows, Beginning North East corner of quarter at a post on said Section Line, thence west thirty nine chains and twenty two links to a post, thence South thirty nine chains and fifty links to a post thence East nineteen chains and fifty links to a post at Henry Augesteens Corner, thence North along said Augersteens line twenty five chains to a post, thence East twenty chains to a post on said section line, thence North fourteen chains and forty links to the place of Beginning to Contain one hundred and six acres and forty five hundredths be the same more or less To have and to hold the premmises aforesaid with all the privileges and appurtances thereunto belonging or in any wise appertaining unto him the said William Routzon and unto his heirs and assigns forever. And the said Mary Routzon Jacob Routzon CHristian Recks and Mary his wife Frederick Sheetz and Catherine his wife Abraham Shetz and Margaret his wife John Routzon and Sarah his wife for themselves and for their heirs executors and admiistrators Covenant and promise to and with the said William Routzon his heirs and assigns that the said Mary Routzon Jacob Routzon Christian Rex and Mary his wife Frederick Sheets and Catherine his wife Abraham Sheetz and Margaret his wife John Routzon and Sarah his wife are lawfully sized of the primoses aforesaid that the have good right and Lawful authority to sell and convey The same in the manner aforesaid and that the preimeses are free and Clear of and from all incumbrances whatsoever except the right of dower of Mary Routzon widow of John Routzon decd and further that the said Mary Routzon Jacob Routzon Christian Rex and Mary his wife Frederick Sheetz and Catherine his wife Abraham Sheets and Margaret His wife John Routzon and Sarah his wife will well and truely warrant and Defend the primeses herein and herby grant unto said William Routzon and to his heirs and assigns against the Lawful claims and Demands of all and every parson whomsoever In Testimoney whereof the said Mary Routzon Jacob Routson Christian Rex and Mary his wife Frederick Sheetz and Catherine his wife Abraham Sheets and Margaret his wife John Routson and Sarah his wife partys of the first part have hereunto Set their hands and Seals this day and year above written Signed Seales and delivered in the presence of Samuel Meek George Retty John Lee Philip May The State of Ohio Columbiana County Parsonally appeared before the subscriber a Justice of the Peace in and for said County Mary Routzon Jacob Routzon Christian Rex and Mary his wife Frederick Sheetz and Catherine his wife Abraham Sheets and Margaret his wife Signers to the within Deed of Conveyance and Page 322 Severally acknowledged the signing and sealing thereof to be their art amd deed for the purposes therein aforesaid the said Mary Catherine and Margaret being separate and apart from their said husbands and the Contents to them made known the acknowledged that the executed the same freely without fear or coercion of their said Husbands. I also certify from my personal noledge that the within named is the parsons that the represent themselves to be, given under my hand and seal this 23rd Day of March A D 1833 Samuel Meek Justice of the Peace State of Ohio Columbiana County Parsonally appeard before the subscriber a Justice of the Peace in and for said County John Routzon and Sarry his wife signed {SEALED} to the within deed for the purps therein exprest the said Sarry being examined seprate and apart from her husband and the and the Contents to her made known the acknowledged that she executed the same freely without fear or Coercion of her said husband; I also certfy from my own parsonal noledge that the within named is the persons that the represent themselves to be Given under my hand and seal this 27th day of September 1833 George Wellhanse, Justice of the Peace Received this deed for record on the 12th day of October 1833 and recorded and compared the 12th day of October 1833 J. Springer, recorder Additional Comments: All spelling is per the deed and is not consistent within the deed. John Rotuzon (SR) died in 1819 in Columbiana Co., OH. Frederick Sheets and Abraham Sheets were siblings, sons of Frederick Sheets who d. 1817 Columbiana County, OH. This deed also proves that Capt. John Routzon and wife Sarah Franks of Wayne County, Ohio belongs to the family group of John and Mary ? Routzon. Christian Rex in the deed is actually Christian Reck.
