East Liverpool, Ohio Daily Crisis - 28 Mar 1900 - pg 4
Job H. Dawson received a telegram notifying him of the death of his brother, 
John H. Dawson, at his home in Steubenville, at 8 o'clock Tuesday evening. 
Deceased was aged 68 years and his death occurred from heart trouble. He leaves 
a wife, two sons and four daughters. 
Deceased was a resident of this city in the neighborhood of forty years ago, 
being a clerk in the dry goods store of John Maas, located at the corner of 
Second and Market streets. He later removed to Steubenville, and has since 
resided in that city. He was lately connected with the firm of Dawson & Simms, 
but some time ago retired from business.
Quite a number of relatives live in this city, and they will attend the funeral 
at Steubenville Friday at 2 p.m.
