Old age and an attack of pneumonia caused his death. Deceased was only confined to his bed three days. For several years he was infirm and his sight was affected. He was born in St. Clair township, this county, and came to East Liverpool in 1861, his entire life being spent in this part of the county. Mr. Huston owned considerable land in the north-eastern part of the city, part of which lies east of the upper reservoir; the remainder being located down from the hill in the part of city known as Huston’s addition. Mrs. Rebecca Huston, wife of the deceased, died June 21, 1871. Deceased was a member of the First U.P. church of this city. He leaves two daughters – Miss Caroline, who resides at the family home, and Mrs. Matthew Anderson, of Sixth street. A brother, James Huston, resides at Bloomington, Ill. The funeral will take place tomorrow afternoon at 2 o’clock from the home. The services will be in charge of Dr. J. C. Taggart. Burial at Riverview cemetery.
