There still remains one member, Mrs. Gould, of the original family of the Bradys, who have always lived on the Brady farm. Jane Brady was the daughter of Daniel Brady, and her father, mother, brothers and sisters have all lived, died and were buried on the farm near Walkers. The Brady burying ground stands beside the East Liverpool and Wellsville street car line at a point called Brady’s cut. Jane was for years in litigations with N.U. Walker over a strip of ground near Walker’s. She had the reputation of never giving up a case when once brought. Deceased was 71 years of age and lived alone until a short time ago, two children of her niece came to live with their great aunt. The Brady estate is in two parts. The upper farm, which lies next to the Spring Grove campground, was the property of Capt. Daniel Brady, of St. Louis, brother of deceased; and was left to the captain’s son, who resides in St. Louis. The lower farm was owned by the family and is considered a valuable piece of property on account of the clay it contains. The funeral of Miss Brady will take place Thursday afternoon; interment in the old Brady burying ground. This file has been created by a form at http://www.poppet.org/ohfiles/ File size: 1.8 Kb
